Kwale County Government Medical Laboratory Technologist III Jobs in Kenya



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Decontaminate working benches.

  • Receive and scrutinize laboratory requisition forms and specimens.

  • Prepare clients for specimen collection.

  • Collect, label, and register specimens.

  • Examine specimens and record results.

  • Dispatch results for clinical management.

  • Prepare stains and perform blood grouping.

  • Issue blood and blood products to peripheral health facilities.

  • Store blood products according to requirements.

  • Support quality management systems.

  • Work flexible shifts with strong commitment to patient care.

  • Respond to emergency calls.

  • Perform any other relevant duty within the County Health Department.

    Requirements
  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.

  • Registration certificate with KMLTTB.

  • Valid practicing license from KMLTTB.

  • Certificate in Computer Application Skills.
