Job Description

Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was established as a government-funded agency dedicated to grant aid programs on April 1991.

KOICA endeavors to combat poverty and support sustainable socio-economic growth of partner countries. By doing so, KOICA establishes and strengthens friendly ties with developing country.

KOICA Ethiopia Office has been serving in Ethiopia since 1995 in supporting the development efforts of Ethiopia by mobilizing the ODA allocated by the Republic of Korean Government.

It has set up a road map of supporting the implementation of Ethiopia’s Growth and Transformation Plan II (GTP II) in short term and supporting the Ethiopian Government’s development policy plans.

KOICA is currently looking for a highly motivated and competent professional for the following position:

  • Leading a team of administration which consists of 3 people (including this position)

  • With other two administration staffs, taking in charge of all general affairs as described below
  • (HR) updating service management regulation, issue/renew/return of ID for dispatched personnel, insurance and medical check-up of staffs, staff management(working time, leave, overtime etc.), organizing capacity building program,
    performance evaluation etc.
  • (Office general affair) managing the facility, inventory, purchasing office goods, reservation (hotel, air ticket, rent car etc), inbound/outbound letter/call, office car arrangement etc.
  • Managing Finance related works (Bank work such as withdraw, transfer etc., VAT refund, managing monthly office Expenditure etc.)

    Duration of Contract for positions:

    Regular staff

  • First Contract will be six months starting from 1st October (including probation period), and will consider of renewing contract based on the performance, before 1st April 2020.

    Job Requirements

    Required Qualification

  • BA degree in Accounting, Management, Public Administration and any other related fields
  • 10 year related work experience (at least 3 years of experience as a team leader of administration department)
  • Excellent in basic computer skills
  • Fluency in written and Spoken English
  • Commitment to KOICA’s Vision, Mission and Values.

    Preferential Qualification

  • Good understanding of IT utilities (Computer, printer, copying machine etc.)
  • Working experience in diverse cultural environment
