Kitui County Assembly Service Board Senior Works Officer II Jobs in Kenya




Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise to members in their oversight role;

  • Check and identify areas of repair works/construction;

  • Planning / drawing of what is to be constructed;

  • Building / fabrication of what has been designed;

  • Assisting preparation of cost estimates;

  • Fixing of what is damaged, broken, or not working properly;

  • Supervising of repairs and maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment and painting works;

  • May be assigned to head the works department;

  • Any other duty as may be assigned.

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Must be a Kenyan Citizen;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an institution recognized in Kenya;

  • Minimum two (2) years’ relevant professional experience.

  • The following qualification(s) will be an added advantage

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from an institution recognized in Kenya or its equivalent.
    Senior Management Course or any other above that from an institution recognized in Kenya.

  • Membership to a professional body /association.

  • Certificate in computer applications/packages.
