Kitui County Assembly Service Board Driver III Jobs in Kenya







Duties and Responsibilities

  • Driving a motor vehicle as authorized;

  • Maintenance of work tickets for vehicles assigned;

  • Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicles systems;

  • Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle;

  • Ensuring security and safety for the vehicle on and off the road;

  • Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical and brake systems and tire pressure;

  • Ensuring safety of the passengers and/or goods therein;

  • Any other duty that may be assigned.

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Must be a Kenyan citizen;

  • Be in possession of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE);

  • A Digital and valid driving license and free from any current endorsements;

  • Minimum of one (1) year satisfactory driving experience;

  • Ability to speak and write English and Kiswahili.

    The following qualification(s) will be an added advantage

  • Passed Occupational Grade Test Ill for Drivers.

  • Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent from an institution recognized in Kenya.

  • Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation;

  • Certificate in First Aid Course.

  • Certificate in computer applications/packages.
