Kisii County Government Chief Officer - Public Works Jobs in Kenya






Requirement


For Appointment to this Grade, the Applicant must have;

  • Be a Kenyan citizen;


  • Be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized in
    Kenya;


  • Possession of a Master’s degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage;

  • Be a Strategic Thinker and Result Oriented,

  • Be a Member of the Professional Body in the Discipline,

  • Proven Experience of at least ten (10) years of service from a reputable
    organization,

  • Computer Literacy,

  • Meets the Requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution


    Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Chief Officer will be the authorized officer and accounting officer in a
    specific department and shall be responsible to the respective County
    Executive Committee Member

  • Oversee smooth running of the Public Work, Housing and Energy
    Division,

  • Implementation of County Executive Committee Resolutions as guided by
    the Executive Committee Member,

  • Formulate and Implement effective Divisional Plans in Line with Vision
    2030, CIDP III and other Sectoral Goals,

  • Proper Management and Supervision of Human Resources in the Division,

  • Planning and Coordination of the Divisional Activities,

  • Develop, Update and Implement all Divisional Policies and Procedures,

  • Create Linkages and Collaboration with other Stakeholders in the Field,

  • Ensure Compliance with the National Values and Principles of Good

  • Governance as outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution.
