Kirinyaga University Security Guard/ Guardette Jobs in Kenya



Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake patrols within University premises.

  • Safeguard the integrity of the University perimeter fence.

  • Protect University property against losses and damage.

  • Enforce University rules and regulations.

  • Assist in firefighting and emergency response.

  • Maintain law and order within the University.

  • Control traffic flow within University grounds.

  • Undertake surveillance duties.

  • Vet staff, visitors, and students accessing or exiting the University.

  • Prevent crime and ensure safety of persons and property.

  • Report and record all security incidents.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

    Qualifications & Skills

  • Certificate of Good Conduct.

  • National Youth Service (NYS) training.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in security service.

  • On‑the‑job training or service in the disciplined forces.

  • KCSE Certificate.
