Kinangop Dairy Limited (KDL) based In Ndunyu Nleru, Kinangop, about 120Km from Nairobi is a rapidly growing Company specialized in the Processing and packaging of milk and other high value products has the following two exciting openings for candidates who desire to make a difference and will be stationed at the Company's head office at Ndunyu Meru.

Human Resources and Administration Manager

The HR and Admin Manager shall be a member of the senior management team reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

The successful candidate shall ensure effective and efficient management of the human resources functions and administrative duties including but not limited to management of all regulatory requirements for business transactions such as permits and licenses by the National end County Governments, insurance matters, vehicle fleet management, Implementation of KCIL's human resource policies and, updating and implementing of all new Government legislations.


  • The HR and Admin manager shall contribute to the formulation of the HR Strategy in line with KOL's Corporate Strategy.
  • HR budgeting/monitoring
  • HR Data information systems management,
  • Deployment/follow through of performance management
  • Updating of HR policies and procedures,
  • Training needs assessments/execution
  • HR talent recruitment
  • Co-ordination of KDLs CSR activities,
  • Statutory Compliance, Annual Trade permits applications, Administration of Company Offices ( hired and own)
  • Staff communications
  • Acting as Secretary to the Board Committee in charge of Humeri Capital matters.

  • The applicant must be a University Graduate in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration or related field from a reputable university
  • Be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
  • In good standing with a current HR Practicing Certificate
  • Be at least 35 years old with 5 to 15 years' experience at senior management level in core areas of HR management.

    IT Mantager

    The IT manager will be responsible for

  • Administration and maintenance of a stableworking and efficient IT System that includes designing, developing,installing, configuring, monitoring and securing of all required software. operating Systems, databases, business applications and mobile applications among others.

    Duties it Responsibilities
  • Planning, designing, documentation, configuration, implementation and supporting of various ICT systems which will Include desktops, pcs servers network equipment and software applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system related problems and where required, coordinate with internal or external service providers.
  • Periodically review and document the configurations of business applications and related technologies to ensure they are secure and
    optimally configured.
  • Develop, alone or in teams, software applications for the business emerging needs.
  • Implement and maintain software and
    data access rights and controls as approved by management
  • Identify, plan and execute the implementation of new applications. upgrades and patches to applications.
  • Implement IT Helpdesk system and devices remedial measures to reduce recurrence of issues through training of users, among other measures.
  • Ensure there are adequate, verified and easily accessible backups of all company data, softwares and licenses.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining of written company Policies and Procedures as required.
  • Continuously monitor all running business software to Identify, correct, all security vulnerabilities, bugs, breaches and other non-optimal occurrences
  • Ensure that new software Integration into our systems meets functional requirements and system compliance.
  • Build custom reports and dashboards to support management decision making
  • Ensure that all company data and softwares comply with all legal and business policy requirements
  • Identify and meet users training needs to use the business software efficiently and respond to and resolve support requests from software users on 24/7 basis

    Qualifications/ Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or in equivalent field.
  • 5+ years relevant professional experience.
  • Possession of MCSA and MCSE or equivalent certifications and experience will be added advantage.
  • 2+ years hands on experience of Linux administration, Including system design, configuration, maintenance, upgrade and administratio
  • 2+ years of experience working with web development tools such as LAMP stack html5, css,bootstrap
  • 2+ years of experience in range of open source tools (pfsense, Samba4, Bind, KVM, Citrix)
  • Strong programming skills in PHP (Must be able to develop and support application build on Laravel framework)
  • Experience in ERP deployment and user support (SYSPRO ERP knowledge and experience will be a plus )
  • Experience in database design and management (advanced knowledge In MSSQL and mysqVmariaDB)
  • Experience in Web service tools/API development and management (SOAP. Restful)
  • Good problem solving skills with deep commitment to end users' satisfaction.
  • Team player with ability to relate well with diverse people and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently.
