Kimisitu SaccoFinance Manager Jobs in Kenya; Responsible for sound financial management of the Society in line with Strategic Business and Financial Plans and International Prudential Accounting Standards. Manage financial resources, ensure prudent stewardship, and implement strong internal control systems to produce and apply accurate financial data.


Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement financial policies, procedures, strategies, and systems.

  • Administer and review accounting norms and procedures.

  • Prepare budgets and conduct trend forecasting to guide the Board.

  • Advise the CEO on financial strategies and their impact.

  • Oversee prudent financial management and investment undertakings.

  • Manage financial resources and assets to support objectives.

  • Formulate strategic financial plans to enhance business growth.

  • Prepare and implement the finance department’s annual work plan.

  • Provide team leadership and manage staff performance.

  • Ensure effective financial controls and risk management procedures.

  • Coordinate external audits and ensure thorough accounting functions.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.

  • Benchmark market trends and report to the CEO.

  • Ensure timely reconciliations.

  • Compile financial reports and liaise with departments.

  • Manage costs to achieve business growth.

  • Oversee smooth running of the Finance Department.

  • Conduct staff performance reviews, identify training needs, and mentor staff.

  • Perform financial analysis,
    reporting, and interpretation.

  • Participate in staff recruitment within the department.

  • Ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.

  • Conduct project appraisals to ensure positive ROI.

  • Implement technological innovations for financial management.


    Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

  • CPA (K) or ACCA holder.

  • Registered with ICPAK.

  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience.

  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Navision (advantage).

  • Proficiency in ERP and IFRS.
