Requirements for appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must;

• Have a Diploma in Water Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

• Have a Certificate in Computer applications.

• Have ability to analyze data and report findings.

• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

• Assisting the hydrologist in ground water survey.

• Borehole test pumping and installation.

• Report writing and preparation of borehole completion report.

• Site management of day to day operations.

• Site investigation.

• Sample collecting for borehole logging and water analysis.

• Foresee borehole drilling across the County.

• Collecting and analyzing data, report findings.

• Assisting geologist in report interpretation and hydrological survey.

• Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
