Kenyatta University Security Officer - Investigations Jobs in Kenya




Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Protect university properties against loss and damage.

  • Report security incidences and emergencies to the senior security officer, investigation.

  • Respond to safety, emergency and enforcement alerts.

  • Investigate and document security breaches and incidents.

  • Respond to security incidents, investigating violations and contributing to disciplinary or legal actions as necessary.

  • Participate in carrying out intelligence gathering and investigations as directed by supervisor.

  • Maintain an up-to-date record of security incidents and trends.

  • Ensure high level of customer services to all clients.

  • Perform any other relevant duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the
  • Director of Security Services from time to time.

    Qualification and Experience:


  • Diploma in Criminology or Security-related field from a recognized and accredited institution.

  • Minimum KCSE C – Minus or equivalent

  • Minimum five (5) years’ cumulative relevant work experience.

  • Have a clean record of discharge from any of the disciplined forces/services.

  • Valid Police Clearance Certificate.

  • Proficiency in Crime/Investigation Management

  • Knowledge in Cyber Security.

  • Computer literate.
