Kenyatta University Lecturer in Pharmacology Jobs in Kenya



Qualifications And Experience

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacology and a BPharm degree or MBChB degree from a local or foreign university recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya.

  • PhD in Pharmacology will be an added advantage.

  • Two (2) years of working experience.

  • Teaching experience will be an added advantage.

  • For the BPharm degree holder, registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya and a valid pharmacist practice license.

  • If an MBChB degree holder, registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council and a valid practicing license.

  • Membership of a relevant professional association.

  • Teaching and research experience appropriate to the rank.

  • Evidence of publications.

    Skills Required For The Job

  • Teaching and research skills.

  • Communication and leadership.

    Other Special Requirements

  • Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

  • Presentation of one (1) paper in a scientific conference.

  • One (1) publication in a peer‑reviewed journal.
