Kenyatta National Hospital Assistant Registered Clinical Officer (Audiology) Jobs in Kenya

Job Purpose

The Assistant Registered Clinical Officer (Audiology) shall be responsible to the Registered
Clinical Officer (Audiology) for effective provision of quality health care services in the Hospital.

Duties and Responsibilities

History taking, examining, diagnosing, education and treating common ailments at an
outpatient or inpatient in the hospital.

Implementing community health care activities in liaison with other health workers.

Guiding and counseling patients, clients and staff on health issues.

Sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health.

Carrying out minor surgical procedures as per training and skills.

Assessing, preparing and presenting medico-legal reports.

Training, guiding and mentoring students on internship.

Qualifications and Experience

Higher Diploma in Audiology or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.

Valid practicing licence from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya

Evidence in Proficiency in Computer Application.
