Introduction

Creating Job and Entrepreneurship Opportunities for Kenya's Youth
The Kenya Youth Employment and Opportunities Project (KYEOP) is being implemented by the Government of Kenya over a four year period. It aims to increase employment and earning opportunities to youth aged between 18-29 years and who have Form Four education and below. The Project will be implemented in a number of cycles over the 4 year period, with each cycle lasting 6 months

Qualifications

  • 18-29 yrs
  • Should have a National ID
  • Form 4 education and below
  • Do not currently have a job What will participants receive? Life Skills Training & Core Business Skills Training (1 month)

    Thereafter proceed to either:

  • Technical Skills Training: 1. Attend 2 months Formal Skills Training followed by 3 months Internship. OR
  • Join a Master Craftsman for 5 months Apprenticeship
  • Entrepreneurship Support: Obtain training and support to start or grow your business.

    Participants will receive

    Certificates on successful completion of the Project.
