Main Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Implement the library policies and procedures that conform to the national library guidelines
  • Take custody of institutions publications to ensure proper maintenance and availability when needed for future use
  • Allocate tasks and supervise staff in the institution library for optimal resource utilization in accordance to set work plans and schedules
  • Ensure Security of Information materials and the office equipment to assist in the management of documents to be charged and discharged to users.

  • Have Bachelors Degree in information studies or its equivalent.

    Kenya Technical Trainers College Mechanical Engineering Technician III Jobs

    Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Managing the mechanical engineering laboratory/workshop,
  • Maintenance of the equipments in the laboratory/workshop,
  • Assisting in preparation of practical exercises,
  • Assisting the lecturers in the conduct of practical exercises,
  • Preparation of the list of inventory/materials required every term

    Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Be in possession of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (production option) from KNEC;
  • Craft certificate in Mechanical Engineering from KNEC;
  • Good interpersonal relations and integrity;
  • Possession of a driving license will be an added advantage.

    Kenya Technical Trainers College Bus Driver Jobs

    Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Driving the assigned vehicle;
  • Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical, type pressure and brake systems, etc;
  • Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of the vehicle systems; maintenance of work ticket(s) for vehicle(s) assigned;
  • Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
  • Overseeing safety of the passengers and/or goods therein; and
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle(s).

    Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Have passed Occupational Trade Test I for drivers;
  • Be in possession of a valid driving license class ABCE;
  • Have demonstrated outstanding professional competence in work performance and results;
  • Those with mechanic knowledge will have an added advantage.

    Kenya Technical Trainers Chief Finance Officer – Ref-KTTC/CFO/01/17 Jobs

    Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Provide professional advisory and critical leadership in the charting the vision, mission in tandem with mandate of the College;
  • Provide technical guidance in the analyzing of the strategic direction of the College including the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the College's strategic objectives, strategies, programmes, activities and inputs, outputs and outcomes;
  • Provide technical leadership and coordination role in the College's annual estimates preparation process with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Provide managerial accounting support to the programmes time scheduling and costing for effective programmes execution planning;
  • Prepare and analyze of the periodic performance contracting measurement tools and reporting for the College;
  • Provide technical expertise in the projects preparation for Ministry’s development support programs;
  • Provide technical leadership on proper recording and accounting of programmes and activities expenditure by the College to both internal and external stakeholders as per best governance practices and statutory regulations;
  • Partner strategically with Ministry of Education and other stakeholders in pursuit of resources for the attainment of the College's mandate;
  • Provide oversight of the College's assets and minimizing its exposure to liabilities;
  • Provide risk assessment and managing the same by ensuring institutionalization of adequate internal control systems.

    Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management or an equivalent from a recognized university;
  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Equivalent.

    Minimum level of professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role:

  • Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K);
  • Registered Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

    Minimum level of knowledge that would be regularly applied to the job (Need to know):

  • Computer literacy;
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act;
  • Knowledge of the Integrated Finance Management Information System (IFMIS);
  • Knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
