Kenya Tea Development Agency Regional Auditor Jobs

Kenya Tea Development Agency Regional Auditor Jobs;Execute the regional audit plan by carrying out audit procedures, ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and best practices. Provide recommendations for corrective actions and contribute to operational effectiveness.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned audits as per departmental policies and procedures.

  • Discuss audit findings with factory managers and recommend corrective actions.

  • Compile draft audit reports.

  • Perform post‑audit follow‑up to determine implementation of recommendations.

  • Present audit findings to supervisor for escalation.

  • Discuss follow‑up reports with regional management/Heads of Departments.

  • Resolve conflicts or issues from audits with major impact.

  • Research best practices and emerging issues.

  • Participate in developing risk‑based audit plans.

  • Conduct investigative and ad‑hoc audit assignments.

  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures by examining records and documentation.

  • Complete audit work papers by documenting tests and findings.

  • Liaise with external auditors and share reports.

    Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.

  • CPA (K) or ACCA qualification.

  • Membership in ICPAK.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ internal or external audit experience.

  • High integrity and ethical practice.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Team player with cordial collaboration skills.

  • Ability to multitask and commit to operational effectiveness.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills with relevant business knowledge.

  • Professional expertise in audit work.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours.

  • Proficiency in MS Office packages.
