Kenya Tea Development Agency Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst Jobs;Support group procurement strategy to lower costs of critical goods and services, reduce supplier risk, and increase supplier value. Provide analysis, reporting, and support for procurement metrics, supplier performance, and market insights.
Duties & Responsibilities
Participate in developing a roadmap towards best practice process efficiency.
Develop and track procurement metrics including spending, requisition‑to‑pay, operational efficiencies, and supplier performance.
Monitor supply markets and cost drivers, sharing insights and benchmarks.
Contribute to research and analysis of price and innovation trends.
Provide detailed analysis with financial, technical, or legal impact on sourcing decisions.
Participate in supplier selection, bid evaluation, and post‑tender negotiations.
Provide logistical and administrative support to business units for planning and budgeting.
Identify cost‑reduction opportunities through automation, standardization, and supply base rationalization.
Monitor and analyse current marketplace trends.
Report on procurement key performance indicators.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum 6 years’ work experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
Professional certification in Supply Chain Management/Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies/Logistics Management.
Membership in
KISM, CIPS, or CSPS.
Strong interpersonal skills including communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving.
Strong financial reporting, planning, and organizational skills.
Thorough knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements.
Ability to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate assigned goals.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and strict deadlines.
Strong analytical and results‑oriented skills.
High standards of integrity and ethical practice.
Effective team player and leader with management skills.
Ability to plan work assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong decision‑making and conflict resolution skills.
Effective communicator for internal and external stakeholders.
