Person Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geo‑Spatial Engineering, Surveying, Civil/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Control & Instrumentation, or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.

  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing and reviewing policies, regulations, and guidelines for space education and awareness.

  • Liaising with stakeholders to integrate space science and technology into educational curricula.

  • Conducting assessments to identify space education and capacity‑building needs.

  • Promoting research efforts in space education and coordinating dissemination of findings.

  • Coordinating awareness of space‑related education programs and initiatives.

  • Implementing space education and awareness programs.

  • Coordinating training and capacity‑building activities within the space sector.

  • Promoting public awareness of GEO‑STEAM and its significance.

  • Supporting establishment and operationalization of space museums and public information centers.

  • Contributing to knowledge management in space education and awareness.

  • Identifying potential risks and supporting mitigation measures.
