Person Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geo‑Spatial Engineering, Surveying, Civil/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Control & Instrumentation, or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.

  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating drafting of policies, guidelines, and regulations related to space research and innovation.

  • Liaising with stakeholders of space research and innovation.

  • Preparing reports and technical materials on promotion of research in space science and emerging technologies.

  • Contributing to development and maintenance of a centralized database of research, innovations, and space objects.

  • Assisting in preparation of proposals and managing logistics for establishment of centres of excellence.

  • Tracking progress and preparing status reports of research and innovation projects.

  • Ensuring protection of intellectual property and assisting with documentation of space innovations.

  • Maintaining a registry of experts and professionals within the space ecosystem.

  • Implementing compliance standards and regulations in research and innovation projects.

  • Organizing workshops, training sessions, and maintaining knowledge‑sharing platforms.

  • Identifying potential risks and assisting in development of mitigation strategies.
