Person Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geo‑Spatial Engineering, Surveying, Civil/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Control & Instrumentation, or equivalent qualification.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.

  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing and reviewing policies, procedures, and strategies related to quality assurance and control.

  • Maintaining the Agency’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring adherence to ISO standards and international best practices.

  • Conducting quality audits, inspections, surveys, and spot checks on space systems, operators, and suppliers.

  • Monitoring and assessing compliance with technical, operational, and safety standards.

  • Documenting processes for certification, renewal, suspension, or withdrawal of licenses and authorizations.

  • Investigating occurrences, incidents, and quality deviations, preparing reports and corrective actions.

  • Investigating accidents and incidents involving space systems.

  • Reviewing proposed changes to technical and maintenance documentation.

  • Evaluating recommendations from technical departments.

  • Analyzing quality assurance and safety performance data, preparing periodic reports.

  • Developing risk‑based performance indicators related to quality and operational safety.

  • Facilitating technical engagements with contractors, service providers, and international partners.

  • Promoting continuous improvement through knowledge management activities, audits, and reviews.
