Person Specifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

  • Membership to the Law Society of Kenya or relevant professional body.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.

  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Providing advice and legal opinions to Management and the Board.

  • Interpreting legal cases and advising on prosecution procedures.

  • Developing and implementing legal agreements and contracts.

  • Monitoring compliance with legal framework, agreements, and contracts.

  • Preparing legal opinions on cases and notices.

  • Researching emerging legal issues.

  • Liaising with the Attorney General, law enforcement agencies, and stakeholders.

  • Interpreting laws and providing legal opinions.

  • Drafting and facilitating Gazettement of Legal Notices.

  • Advising on registration and protection of Agency’s logo and marks.

  • Providing administration and logistical support to the Board.

  • Managing diary of Board events.

  • Facilitating travel and accommodation logistics for Board meetings.

  • Supporting production of reports and documents for Board meetings.

  • Providing logistical support for Board Induction program.

  • Archiving e‑Board documentation.
