Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills)

Academic Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Commerce (Accounting/Finance Option), Finance, Business Administration, ICT, Business Management; Economics or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

First level university degree in any of the following disciplines from an accredited University/College Commerce (Accounting/Finance Option), Finance, Business Administration, Economics, ICT Business Management or equivalent qualifications combined with the required work experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.

Professional Qualifications / Membership to Professional Bodies

Undertaken Leadership/Management course from a recognized institution.

CPA(K)/ACCA or similar qualification.

Membership of good standing in professional accounting body.

Knowledge/Experience in working with an ERP System.

Previous Relevant Work Experience Required

Minimum 12 years’ work experience in a related field five (5) of which must be in managerial position.

Experience in company budget planning supporting the executive management and financial advice in shipbuilding industry is desirable.

International experience in similar role will be an added advantage.
