Kenya School of Law Waiter Jobs

Kenya School of Law Hospitality Officer JobsReporting to the Chef, the incumbent will assist in the implementation of hospitality policies, procedures, and processes in the catering unit.

Job Specifications (Duties)

Clean and lay out tables for meals to ensure the restaurant is well prepared.

Welcome guests to the buffet and show them appropriate seating areas for guest comfort.

Assist in managing and ensuring adequate supply of food on the buffet table to maintain service flow.

Follow established work schedules provided by the Chef to ensure standards are maintained.

Take orders from clients for beverages to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Check with customers to confirm they are comfortable and enjoying their meals.

Assist in stocking service areas with supplies such as tableware and linens to ensure availability.

Inform the Head Waiter promptly of any shortage of provisions to ensure supplies are replenished.

Work cooperatively with other kitchen staff to provide high‑quality customer service.

Assist in collecting or receiving payments from customers to ensure all meals are paid for in line with regulations.

Follow all relevant health departmental rules/regulations and customer service guidelines to ensure health and safety standards are met.

Person Specifications

Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (minimum one year) from a recognized institution.

Must meet requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.

Proficiency in computer applications.
