  • The Kenya School of Law is a public legal education provider responsible for the provision of professional legal training as an agent of the Government.

    REF: KSL/HR10/2022, 1 POSITION
  • Reporting to the Assistant Director, Human Resource & Administration the incumbent will be responsible for the filing, retrieval, receiving and dispatching of mails, documents and files in line with approved standards and procedures.


    The Specific Duties and Responsibilities Will Entail: -
  • Ensuring that letters are appropriately filed and marked to action officers;
  • Controlling and opening of files and updating file index;
  • Ensuring security of information/files in the registry;
  • Updating and maintaining up-to-date file movement records;
  • Ascertaining the general cleanliness of the registry;
  • Certifying that pending correspondence and bring-ups are checked and appropriate action taken;
  • Renewing file covers;
  • Ensuring proper handling of documents, pending correspondence and bring-ups; and
  • Receiving and dispatching letters and maintaining related registers.


    Job Requirements
  • To qualify for this position, the applicant must have: –

  • Diploma in Records Management, Information Management, Information Science, or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
  • Proficiency in Computer Applications; and
  • Meet requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.
