Kenya Revenue Authority Pension Officer – Administration Jobs


Job Purpose

To maintain pension records, process and review member benefits, verify documentation, and support trust fund administration in line with approved policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support administration of the Scheme in line with Trust Deed, Rules, and applicable regulations.

  • Maintain accurate pension, contribution, and member records, including post‑retirement medical records.

  • Process and review pension benefits for retiring members, pensioners, dependents, and beneficiaries.

  • Verify and certify pension calculations, payroll changes, benefit payments, and documentation.

  • Support management of trust funds for minors and beneficiaries in line with guidelines and legal requirements.

  • Reconcile pension records, contributions, and membership data with relevant departments and service providers.

  • Ensure timely processing and payment of pension and related benefits.

  • Provide pension information, guidance, and support to members, pensioners, and dependents.

  • Maintain proper filing, archiving, and safe custody of pension records.

  • Support compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal control requirements.

  • Assist in coordination of member engagement activities including education and AGMs.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ work
    experience in pension administration.

  • Proficiency in ICT applications.

  • Professional training in pensions or retirement benefits administration (e.g., Trustee Development Programme Kenya – TDPK) advantageous.

  • Accounting qualifications (advantageous).
