Kenya Reinsurance Corporation Limited Assistant Manager – Actuarial Jobs;The Assistant Manager – Actuarial supports Kenya Re in delivering sound actuarial solutions through risk analysis, pricing, reserving and financial modelling. The role provides technical expertise that strengthens profitability, sustainability and effective management of the reinsurance portfolio.

Professional Qualifications

  • Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) Kenya/UK or equivalent.

  • CPA Part II or III (KASNEB), ACCA or equivalent.

  • Membership of a recognized actuarial body and/or ICPAK in good standing.

  • Management course lasting not less than 4 weeks from a recognized institution.

    Experience

  • At least 12 years’ relevant work experience.

  • Minimum 3 years at supervisory level in a reputable organization.

  • Proven experience preparing IRA quarterly and annual returns.

  • Demonstrated merit, managerial capability and professional competence.

    Other Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Superior planning, organizing and time‑management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Fulfil requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
