Kenya Population Based HIV Impact Assessment Community Mobilization Coordinator Jobs

Responsibilities

Sensitization of the county leaders and stakeholders about the KENPHIA survey
Identify, recruit, and train community mobilizers who will conduct grassroot sensitization and mobilization of local communities to ensure optimal participation in the KENPHIA survey

Coordinate, monitor and supervise community mobilizers to ensure that they conduct effective door-to-door sensitization and mobilization activities within the assigned area to inform the community on the upcoming survey

Work closely with survey field teams to ensure effective community entry

Coordinate post-survey exit meeting/feedback information from local communities and resolve any issues that might arise

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Psychology, Planning

Strong interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills in English and Swahili

Previous community mobilization experience of more than 1 year
Added advantage if applicant has any of the below:

Participation in previous national surveys

Background in HIV/AIDS
