Kenya Medical Training College Project Assistant - AN- Scale - KMTC 7 Vacancies



Requirements for Appointment

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in curriculum development, medical education, or health workforce development.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Medical Education, Health Professions Education, Curriculum Development, Public Health, Education, or related field.

  • Experience in competency‑based education and faculty development.

  • Experience in digital learning and educational innovation desirable.

    Key Responsibilities

    Curriculum Development & Review

  • Coordinate curriculum development and review, ensuring alignment with CBET principles, national health priorities, regulatory standards, and inclusive practices.

    Innovative Teaching Approaches

  • Support integration of digital learning, blended learning, simulation‑based learning, competency‑based and problem‑based learning.

    Learning Resources Development

  • Develop and enhance e‑learning content, instructional materials, and teaching guides.

    Faculty Capacity Building

  • Build faculty capacity through training workshops, mentorship, CPD initiatives, and learner‑centered teaching practices.

    Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Facilitate peer‑learning networks and communities of practice.

  • Promote culturally responsive mentorship and clinical teaching practices.

    Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare technical and training reports.

  • Document best practices and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
