Kenya Institute of Special Education Driver Jobs; The Driver will provide safe and efficient transport services for staff, clients, and goods while ensuring proper vehicle maintenance and compliance with traffic laws. The role involves record‑keeping, reporting, and supporting institutional operations.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation & Safety

  • Drive vehicles as authorized.

  • Maintain proper mechanical condition of assigned vehicles.

  • Keep updated work tickets and submit regular reports.

  • Clean assigned vehicles and ensure security of passengers and vehicle.

  • Adhere to traffic laws and report incidents promptly to police and office.

  • Detect and report common mechanical faults.

    Qualifications / Work Experience

  • KCSE Mean Grade D+ or equivalent (Mandatory).

  • Valid Driving License Class D1, D2 free from endorsements (Mandatory).

  • Suitability Test for Drivers (Mandatory).

  • Minimum 2 years’ driving experience (Mandatory).

  • First Aid Certificate Course (Mandatory).

  • Proficiency in computer applications.

  • Strong safety awareness and responsibility.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Commitment to professionalism and integrity.
