The Clerk / General Administration Section shall under the direction, control and guidance of the Administrative Attache perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Assist Administrative Attaché in the daily running of the Open Registry.

• Maintaining Open Registry files including opening, closing and storage of files.

• Keeping record of file movement and maintaining file index.

• Distribution of files and documents from Registries to offices and vice versa.

• Clearing trays from offices in liaison with Secretaries.

• Assist with photocopying of documents.

• Distribution of mail pigeon holes.

• Assist with circulation of inter office memoranda.

• Relieve the Telephone Operator while on leave

• Binding of Reports

• Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Mission or any responsible officer.

Qualifications/Requirements

• KCSE Certificate with a minimum grade C- (minus) or equivalent

• Basic professional Certificate

• Recommendation for exemplary work performance

• Two (2) years’ experience as a clerk or equivalent

  • The positions are for a duration of twenty three (23) months, and the successful applicants will be subject to Kenya High Commission Terms and Conditions of Service, as
    well as applicable UK laws and regulations.
