Clerk 2 at Immigration-Visa Section
The Clerk / Visa Section shall under the direction, control and guidance of the Immigration Attache perform the following duties and responsibilities regarding visa processing, mail management and banking duties:-


• Processing Visa stickers such as filling the visa stickers details and inputting into the visa pages on passports

• Processing Emergency Travel documents such as filling details into the documents

• Processing of pet licences such as filling details into the documents

• Advising callers regarding application requirements and procedures over the phone;

• Banking all revenue:-postal orders and cheques collected from the counter services

• Management of mails and parcels to and from the post such as act as a postman/lady;

• Managing the mail database such as opening incoming mails, recording and distributing;

• Post room duties including franking letters, keeping a record of incoming and outgoing mails/parcels, posting all sectional parcels and letters;

• Alternate counter services officer

• Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Mission or any responsible officer.

Qualifications/Requirements

• KCSE Certificate with a minimum grade C- (minus) or equivalent

• Basic professional Certificate

• Recommendation for exemplary work performance

• Two (2) years’ experience as a clerk or equivalent

  • The positions are for
    a duration of twenty three (23) months, and the successful applicants will be subject to Kenya High Commission Terms and Conditions of Service, as well as applicable UK laws and regulations.
