Kenya Forest Service Senior Internal Auditor Jobs




Entry Requirements

  • Six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which at the grade of Internal Auditor I or comparable position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (Finance/Accounting option), Economics, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

  • Certificate in Part III of CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

  • Membership in ICPAK, IIA, ISACA, or relevant professional body in good standing

  • Proficiency in computer applications

  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

    Additional Information

  • Undertake audit assignments in line with approved audit workplan

  • Develop audit strategies, policies, and procedures and ensure implementation

  • Perform substantive and compliance testing of records and documents

  • Provide inputs in preparation of audit reports for engagements executed

  • Contribute to preparation of risk‑based annual audit plan

  • Prepare audit reports on completion of engagements for timely issuance to management

  • Evaluate progress and effectiveness of action taken to implement audit recommendations

  • Prepare quarterly audit reports to the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board

  • Execute special audits and investigations

  • Promote public values and principles in Public Service

  • Mentor and coach staff to enhance professional growth and performance
