Kenya Film Classification Board Driver - Embu Jobs;The Driver will operate vehicles safely, maintain proper mechanical condition, and ensure the security of passengers, goods, and official documents. The role requires adherence to traffic laws, timely reporting of incidents, and compliance with institutional policies.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive vehicles as authorized

  • Keep up‑to‑date work tickets for assigned vehicles

  • Clean assigned motor vehicles

  • Maintain proper mechanical condition of vehicles

  • Collect and deliver official mails, parcels, and documents

  • Ensure security and safety of passengers, vehicle, and baggage

  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

  • Follow maintenance and insurance renewal schedules; report mechanical/accident issues to Administration Officer

  • Conduct routine checks on cooling, oil, electrical systems, tyre pressure, and brakes

  • Detect and repair minor malfunctions; ensure adequate fuel levels

  • Report incidents/accidents promptly to police and/or the Board

  • Detect common mechanical faults

  • Maintain validity of driving license at all times

    Job Specifications

  • Two (2) years driving experience

  • KCSE mean grade D (Plain) or equivalent qualification

  • Valid driving license free from endorsements, covering required vehicle classes

  • Passed Suitability Test for Drivers Grade I from Ministry of Roads and Public Works

  • First Aid Certificate course (minimum one week) from St. John Ambulance, KIHBT, or recognized institution

  • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from Kenya Police

  • General computer knowledge

  • Must be an Embu County resident
