Kenya Electricity Generating Company Security Officer - Intern Jobs





Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct ad-hoc inspections on all KenGen installations.

  • Liaise with government agencies on security matters.

  • Monitor contract administration for KenGen and security service providers and report any deviations.

  • Process, verify, and confirm the authenticity of monthly security invoices by service providers for accurate payment.

  • Draft Standard Security Standing Procedures and work instructions.

  • Ensure systematic filing and documentation of all security files and reports.

  • Collect, collate, and preserve evidence including documents, exhibits, and statements.

  • Ensure all security issues are documented in the integrated security management system.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, Criminology, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

  • Must be prepared to serve anywhere in any of the business areas in Kenya.
