Kenya Electricity Generating Company Mechanical Technician Intern Jobs




Job Description – Duties

  • Carry out scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on mechanical equipment.

  • Perform calibration of all mechanical monitoring equipment.

  • Install, test, and commission new or refurbished plant equipment and systems.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and interpret technical drawings as per work requirements.

  • Carry out diagnostics and troubleshooting of faults in the plant and auxiliaries.

    Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

  • Final certificate from the national examining body (KNEC).

  • Must be prepared to serve anywhere in any of the business areas in Kenya.
