Kenya Electricity Generating Company Mechanical Engineer Intern Jobs




Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate, repair, and maintain power plants, equipment, workshop tools, pipelines, steam-gathering systems, earthmovers, drilling rigs, geothermal well parameters, and building services equipment/systems.

  • Supervise construction, installation, and commissioning of power plants, machinery, equipment, and pipelines.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on maintenance programs, energy generation, project implementation schedules, efficiency of machines, equipment performance, and geothermal wells data.

  • Collect data for maintenance, projects, and energy planning.

  • Schedule calibration programs for equipment, tools, and instruments.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institution and accredited by the Engineers Board of Kenya.

  • Must be prepared to serve anywhere in any of the business areas in Kenya.
