Kenya Electricity Generating Company Insurance Officer Jobs




Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ascertain that claims are reported in good time and that documentation is properly done.

  • Analyze claims and supporting documents for verification of validity.

  • Ensure prompt registration and acknowledgement of reported claims.

  • Review claim reports and recommend settlement in line with policy liability and circumstances of loss.

  • Ensure prompt processing for settlement on all fully documented and concluded claims and seek approval for payment within the agreed timeframes and approval levels.

  • Consult and advise on issues regarding claims management.

  • Carry out insurance risk surveys fronted by insurance companies.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

  • Must be prepared to serve anywhere in any of the business areas in Kenya.
