Kenya Development Corporation Senior Business Development Officer Jobs in Kenya

Job purpose

The Senior Business Development Officer will be responsible for origination of new business
opportunities and provision of advisory services to ensure sustainability of the established
businesses. They will also be responsible for developing policies and strategies for business
development.

Duties and responsibilities will entail;

Develop business and marketing plans in collaboration with other departments to achieve revenue goals.

Ensures continuous Identification of potential business investment opportunities for KDC.

Analyze the product deficiencies in order to provide recommendations for problem resolution.

Promotes KDC’s brand image to the general public.

Participates in business development activities.

Undertake corporate and product promotional programs

Assess effectiveness of various product distribution channels

Person Specification

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields, Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Marketing or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;

At least four years work experience

Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks

Proficiency in computer applications; and

Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
