The M&E Officer will offer strategic direction and leadership on Monitoring and Evaluation
of program activities to ensure transparency and accountability. S/He will lead data
management processes to monitor the program’s performance.

Key duties

Lead results reporting to the program leadership and donor by providing written
documentation on M&E activities and indicator results for progress through monthly,
quarterly and annual reports;

Develop, design, implement and maintain a program database alongside data collection
and reporting tools for capturing Komesha TB program-specific real time data;

Oversee data collection and entry into the database within stipulated schedules;

Carry out data collation, aggregation, validation and analysis of program data;

Conduct routine data quality assessments for program data and develop action oriented
work plans to address arising data quality gaps;

Oversee the implementation of a program performance monitoring plan to capture
performance and results, including routine service delivery data reporting, baseline and
end-line assessments, and all monitoring for process and outcome evaluations;

Routinely build M&E capacity of health facility staff, diocesan health coordinators and
county teams through

training and mentorship;

Academic Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in M&E, Health Records and Information Management, Public
Health, Information Technology or a related course.

> 5 years of relevant professional and progressive experience in leading M&E system
design and implementation preferably in a TB program;
