Kenya Ceramics Company Limited Glaze & Pulp Material Tester Jobs ; We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Glaze & Pulp Material Tester to join our Technology team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in laboratory testing or manufacturing quality inspection and be able to support accurate testing, inspection, and reporting of raw materials used in production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine daily testing of glaze, pulp, and raw materials used in production

  • Perform adhesive grout processing, preparation, and fabrication for testing purposes

  • Carry out on-site material inspection to ensure consistency and compliance with production standards

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory and testing equipment

  • Implement new testing procedures linked to newly installed inspection equipment

  • Record test results accurately and prepare clear reports

  • Identify material defects, variations, and non-conformities and escalate findings

  • Support production teams by providing timely quality feedback

  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and inspection procedures

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in laboratory testing and material inspection

  • Basic understanding of industrial testing methods and quality assurance processes

  • Ability to operate laboratory/testing equipment and interpret results

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication and reporting skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment
