Key Duties / Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
Build relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and other home‑construction professionals
Act as a trusted advisor by understanding requirements and offering tailored solutions and ongoing support
Visit construction sites regularly to assess project needs and identify opportunities
Sales & Business Development
Prospect and network for new business in the home‑construction market
Present company products/solutions, highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure sales and achieve revenue targets
Product Education & Training
Maintain deep knowledge of the product portfolio
Deliver product training/demonstrations on usage, installation techniques, and best practices
Track industry trends, technology, and competitor offerings to position products effectively
Project Coordination & Support
Coordinate with Logistics, Operations, and Customer Service for timely delivery and smooth project execution
Support customers across the project lifecycle, resolving inquiries/issues and overcoming challenges
Coordinate with contractors/subcontractors on installations and compliance with quality standards/specifications
Reporting & Analysis
Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details
Report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback
Analyse sales data/metrics to identify improvements and optimise sales effectiveness
Key Outputs / Deliverables
Achieve agreed sales targets
Customer retention, improved relationships, and quality service to new/existing clientele
Compliance with departmental processes
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or related subjects
Proven field‑sales experience, preferably in construction/building materials
