Kenya Airways Warranty Engineer Jobs ;Administer, initiate and progress claims in respect of maintenance reserves, warranties, guarantees and insurance to enhance product quality and protect the financial interests of the organization through effective warranty management.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Claims

  • Compile maintenance records for aircraft/engine components qualifying for reserve compensation and initiate claims from Lessors.

    Warranty Claims

  • Compile records of restoration, modification and inspection qualifying for warranty compensation and initiate claims to vendors for cost optimization.

    Contracted Terms Claims

  • Monitor deviations from contracted terms and initiate recovery measures for optimized product quality and cost.

    Guarantee Claims

  • Track aircraft, engine and component performance (MTBF/MTBRs) and initiate compensation claims when below guarantee levels.

    Insurance Claims

  • Collect data and initiate insurance claims through Kenya Airways insurance section for damage incidents and losses.

    Records

  • Extract, compile and circulate entitlements/obligations under agreements and distribute monthly status reports on claims.

    Skills

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Self‑starter able to work independently on ad‑hoc and core tasks.

  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and excellent math skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to complete tasks within predetermined time constraints.

    Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

  • Familiarity with repair, warranties, stores, inventory, technical, production and quality interfaces.

  • Aviation industry experience in supply chain preferred.

  • Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to detect trends and insights.

  • Ability to understand complex contracts and summarize key terms.

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance (added advantage).

  • Successful completion of Graduate Engineering Program (added advantage).

  • 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or technical field.
