Kenya Airways Supplies Coordinator Jobs ; Organize and control aircraft spares in the warehouse to ensure secure warehousing, handling and issuance in compliance with airworthiness requirements and Kenya Airways Plc Quality Standards, supporting schedule requirements for Kenya Airways and other operators.

Responsibilities

Aircraft Spares & Tools Management

  • Ensure proper warehousing and handling of aircraft spares/tools in compliance with airworthiness and company quality standards.

  • Issue items to support schedule requirements for Kenya Airways and other operators.

    Access Regulation & Security

  • Maintain secure access to the stockroom per Maintenance Organization Exposition procedures.

    Inventory Management

  • Oversee inventory levels using systems (e.g., OASES).

  • Maintain accurate records and conduct audits to ensure 98% stock accuracy.

    Receiving & Inspection

  • Oversee receipt of shipments, check quantities/defects, and ensure compliance with purchase orders.

    Storage & Organization

  • Manage efficient organization of aircraft materials with proper shelving and labelling.

    Distribution & Allocation

  • Coordinate allocation/distribution of materials to users/warehouses based on demand and schedules.

    Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OEM guidelines (e.g., MSDS) and handling protocols.

    Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of inventory transactions, orders and shipments.

  • Generate reports to track trends and support decision‑making.

    Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance warehouse operations, optimize inventory practices and reduce costs.

    Skills

  • Knowledge of KCAA/EASA and company requirements preferred.

  • Strong verbal and
    written communication skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Ability to work on a shift schedule.

    Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Business Management / Commerce OR Diploma with 5 years’ aviation experience.

  • In‑depth knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.

  • Training in handling Dangerous Goods (added advantage).

  • Forklift certification or ability to complete forklift training (added advantage).

  • General knowledge of logistics, warehousing procedures and statutory regulations.

  • Computer literacy and MRP proficiency.

  • Minimum 2 years’ warehouse experience in aviation.

    Additional Information

  • Attention to detail for inventory accuracy.

  • Strong organizational skills for warehouse operations.

  • Problem‑solving ability for discrepancies and process optimization.

  • Safety awareness in handling/storing materials.

  • Effective communication and coordination with procurement, material planning and engineering.
