Kenya Airways Material Controller- Contract and Supplier Performance Jobs;Ensure inventory optimization through review and analysis of data, provision of solutions and proposals that guide agreement and contract decisions, and establishment of supplier performance indicators using industry‑proven metrics to drive business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive contract negotiations by analyzing and reviewing materials data.

  • Operationalize existing contracts and agreements.

  • Monitor and control contract performance – CSP, PBH’s, GTA’s, Adhocs.

  • Generate management reports regularly or as required.

  • Review and manage materials cost.

    Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

  • Strong IT systems knowledge, including advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience in material cost control and supervising supply of materials in line with maintenance requirements and budget, ideally within aviation or manufacturing.

  • Experience in contract management.

  • Knowledge of inventory management.

  • Advanced understanding of materials management data and systems.

  • Knowledge of aircraft components and parts.

  • Ability to interpret approved maintenance documentation (IPC, RSPL,
    AMM, SBs).

  • Knowledge of lean techniques.

  • Knowledge of aircraft parts airworthiness certification (EASA, FAA), KCAA and customs regulations desirable.

  • Understanding of IATA resolutions and industry rules.

  • Membership of a professional body (added advantage).

  • 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or technical field.
