Kenya Airways Aviation Calibration Technician Jobs



Kenya Airways Aviation Calibration Technician Jobs ;The Aviation Calibration Technician will carry out assigned repair and replacement tasks on aircraft components in accordance with regulatory and company procedures, upholding high safety standards and schedule integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate aviation instruments (mechanical, electrical, pressure, torque, temperature).

  • Apply metrology principles with traceability to national/international standards (ISO 17025).

  • Maintain precision, attention to detail and accurate records.

  • Use reference standards, calibration masters and traceability chains.

  • Understand measurement principles and uncertainty.

  • Apply calibration tolerances, acceptance criteria and correction factors.

  • Label and control calibrated tools per tool control policies.

  • Identify out‑of‑tolerance tools/instruments for repair or replacement.

  • Utilize ERP systems or calibration management software.

  • Interpret technical manuals, calibration procedures and engineering specifications.

    Skills

  • Basic knowledge of aviation legislation/regulations.

  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards.

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

  • Dependability and honesty.

  • Safety consciousness.

    Qualifications

  • Diploma in Applied Sciences, Metrology, Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years in a busy ISO/IEC 17025
    calibration laboratory.

  • Knowledge of metrology and tool calibration procedures.

  • Risk awareness and compliance with safety/HazMat protocols.

  • Understanding of aviation maintenance regulations (ISO, EASA, MIL‑SPEC).

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, AS9100 quality systems.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data logging.

  • OEM calibration training.

  • EASA/FAA Part 145 regulatory training.

    Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in ISO/IEC 17025 calibration laboratory aviation maintenance support role.
