Kentegra Biotechnology Assistant Accountant Jobs in Kenya

Kentegra Biotechnology at the EPZ Athi River is looking for an Assistant Accountant.

The key tasks for this role include:

Applying the 3 matching ways of supply by ensuring the supplier documents are complete with the LPO, GRN and Invoice.

Processing of invoices in the computerized accounting system and sending them for approval and authorization.

Preparing of supplier payment reconciliations.

Engaging suppliers on issues/ balances that need clarification on their statement.

Analyzing the creditors aging report to be able to know the balances due and be consistent with the credit terms agreed on.

Processing of Withholding tax and its monthly remittance to KRA.

Maintaining filing systems for accounting documents and vouchers.

Processing and accounting of expense claims.

Handling and maintaining petty cash.

Ensuring proper filing; both hard and soft copies are maintained to support all transactions that have been processed.

Maintaining the FAR.

Qualifications and work experience required for this role

Must be a CPA (K) finalist

At least 2 years’ relevant experience.

Demonstrable high levels of integrity.

High Analytical skills.

Great attention to detail.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft office.
