Kenindia Assurance Company Limited Deputy Head of Claims - Pensions Jobs in Kenya;To support the Head of Claims in planning, coordinating, reviewing, approving, and controlling Retirement Benefits claims processing. The role ensures timely, accurate, compliant, and customer‑focused settlement of retirement benefits in line with Trust Deeds, Company Policies, Regulatory Requirements, and service standards.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Actuarial Science, Applied Statistics, Accounting, or Business‑related field.

  • In‑depth knowledge of RBA Regulations and Pension Tax Laws.

  • Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/ACII).

  • CPA/ACCA/Actuarial progress an added advantage.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Retirement Benefits Schemes Administration/Pension Claims.

  • At least 2 years in a supervisory role.

    Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

  • Integrity and ethical conduct.

  • Competence in pension benefits computation, regulatory interpretation, claims audit control, and risk assessment.

  • Effective stakeholder management skills.
