Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields, Commerce, Business Administration (Supply Management) option, Economics, Procurement and Supplies Management, Marketing or the equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

  • Proficiency in computer application

  • Fulfilling the requirements of Chapter (6) Six of the Constitution.

    Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail:

  • Processing of agenda for the tender committees and assisting in implementation of decision thereof.

  • Prepare and update store ledgers and all store documents.

  • Opening of tenders/quotations.

  • Undertake technical evaluation/quotation analysis.

  • Issuance of goods from store to user divisions.

  • Serve as a secretary to both opening and technical committees.

  • Prepare stock reports/ reconciliations and submit to relevant users.

  • To prepare good received note/documents and pass to the Accountant for payment.

  • Undertake any other professional duties assigned by the supervisor.
