KeNHA Jobs in Kenya - Security Officer Vacancies

Job Purpose

The Job holder will be responsible for the safety and security of staff and the property of the Authority in Barabara Plaza and coordinating the services of the deployed security personnel from the National Police Service.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail

Coordinating all related security issues at KeNHA;

Supervising the outsourced security staff from National Police Service, National Youth
service or any other security service provider;

Monitoring, identifying and advising of any security gaps in the Authority

Preparing and submitting security intelligence reports to the DD/Administration.

Coordinating staff in the event of emergency;

Maintaining control of firearms and ammunition left at the Authority’s armory;

Compiling and managing security related records and stores;

Supervising interviews and interrogation of suspects;

Ensuring that all cases reported are properly recorded and investigated;

Pursuing the occurrence Book and pursuing any recorded cases;

Maintaining inventory of lost and found property;

Maintaining awareness and alertness for on suspicious activities and potential threats.

Job Specifications

A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in a position in Public Service or private Sector;

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Police Science, Security Management and police Work
or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution ;

Trained Government Security Officer from any disciplined service and having served in the rank of Inspector and above.

Proven Proficiency in Computer applications and ;

Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;
