Job Title: Product Developer

Department & Section: Research and Development Confectionery

Reports To: New Product Development Manager

Location: KIL

Main Purpose of this Position: Implement new product development, product and process renovations and oversee quality assurance, quality control and food safety in adherence to the standard operating procedure

Key Deliverables for this Position

  • R – Ensuring compliance to all statutory and system requirements
  • Q – Achieve quality standards as per SOP
  • D – Timely delivery of new product projects.
  • C – Achieve cost targets

    Key Responsibilities

  • Executing out the implementation of the departmental strategy in line with the production strategy, policies, processes and procedures to achieve the organization’s objectives.
  • Applying product technical aspects to come up with standard operating procedures
  • Conducting trials to scale up new products to desired standards.
  • Overseeing plant trials, drafting of standards, and training operators and online quality checkers
  • Conducting market research to capture consumer needs
  • Benchmarking and implementing best practices in manufacturing and respective areas of work.
  • Implementing product quality, customer & Service Excellence and Change initiatives to achieve desired business plans and culture.
