Job Description

  • Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a State Corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013. The 1979 Act established KEMRI as a National body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • General Office Administration

    • Response to minor emergencies such as water leakages

    • Supervise Office cleaning

    • Management of venues for office meetings

    Vacancy Requirements:

    • Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Fleet Management, Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

    • Proficiency in computer applications.

    • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    • Planning skills.

    • Communication and reporting skills.

    • Interpersonal skills.

    • Team player.
